Characteristics of two formulations of trifluralin, an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) and
emulsion, oil in water (EW), the latter being a new formulation of our design, were investigated
and compared. Attention was focused on particle size distribution and aspects of
the two aqueous dilute formulations as the most characteristic and comparable parameters.
The results show that the trifluralin EW formulation has certain advantages over the EC
formulation, but a final estimate will be possible only after testing biological efficacy of the
new formulation (EW).; U radu su ispitivane i upoređivane karakteristike dve formulacije trifluralina, koncentrat
za emulziju (EC) i emulzija ulja u vodi (EW), koja je potpuno nova – nastala kao rezultat sopstvenog
rada. Tokom ispitivanja pažnja je bila usmerena na poređenje granulometrijskog
sastava i izgleda pomenutih formulacija u razblaženju, kao karakterističnih parametara za
poređenje. Rezultati ispitivanja su pokazali da formulacija trifluralina ulje u vodi (EW) pokazuje
izvesne prednosti u odnosu na koncentrat za emulziju (EC), s tim da će se konačna ocena
dobiti nakon ispitivanja biološke efikasnosti nove formulacije (EW).

Concentrations of Pb, Cd, Cu and Mn in sixteen NPK fertilizers imported and widely used
in Serbia were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). The results
show that contents of heavy metals varied significantly in different fertilizers depending
on N:P:K ratio and fertilizer origin. Pb and Cd contents in water solution of fertilizers
occurred at low ranges: 2.0-3.1 and 0.03-1.56 mg/kg, respectively. An NPK (15:15:15) fertilizer
from Romania was found to contain the highest concentration of Pb and Cd as impurities.
Cu content, ranging from 7.1 to 974.7 mg/kg, was the highest in coloured fertilizers
from Hungary, the Netherlands and Greece. Mn value in a Hungarian NPK product (10:10:20)
exceeds the average Mn value in soil.
The data indicate variable contents of heavy metals in fertilizers, some of which are significantly
higher than natural concentrations in soil, which suggests that they need to be
continuously monitored.; Koncentracije Pb, Cd, Cu i Mn u šesnaest uvoznih NPK đubriva, koja se najčešće koriste
u Srbiji, su određene metodom plamene atomske apsorpcione spektrometrije. Dobijeni rezultati
pokazuju da sadržaj teških metala u uzorcima različitih đubriva značajno varira, što
zavisi od odnosa N:P:K u ispitivanim uzorcima đubriva, kao i od samog porekla đubriva.
Koncentracije Pb i Cd su u uskom intervalu: 2,0-3,1, odnosno 0,03-1,56 mg/kg, respektivno.
NPK đubrivo (15:15:15) uveženo iz Rumunije sadrži veoma visoke koncentracije
Pb i Cd, koji se nalaze kao nečistoće u sirovinama za dobijanje ovog đubriva. Sadržaj Cu
varira u znatno većem opsegu: od 7,1 do 974,7 mg/kg, jer je nekim mešanim đubrivima dodat
bakar-sulfat kao sredstvo za bojenje. Najveći sadržaj Cu je nađen u obojenim, mešanim
NPK đubrivima poreklom iz Mađarske, Grčke i Holandije, i prevazilazi vrednost maksimalno
dozvoljene koncentracije Cu koja se može naći u zemljištu. Sadržaj Mn u mađarskom NPK
đubrivu (10:10:20) je veći od prosečnog sadržaja Mn u zemljištu čak deset puta.
Ovi podaci ukazuju da je neophodno permanentno kontrolisati sadržaj teških metala
u uvoznim đubrivima, u cilju smanjenja zagađenosti zemljišta, podzemnih i površinskih
voda.

Eeffects of metribuzin on the activity of some enzymes in soil was investigated. Trials
were set up in the laboratory on a clay loam soil. Metribuzin was applied at 12.0, 24.0 and
60.0 mg/kg soil rates and soil samples were collected 3, 7, 15, 30 and 45 days after metribuzin
treatment for analyses. Alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, dehydrogenase, urease
and β-glucosidase were recorded.
The results showed that the intensity of metribuzin effects on the activity of enzymes
depended on treatment rate, exposure time and enzyme group. Metribuzin had an inhibiting
effect on acid phosphatese and dehydrogenase, as well as on alkaline phosphatase in
the initial stage before it turned into a stimulating one, while metribuzin stimulated urease
and had no effect on β-glucosidase.; U radu je ispitivano delovanje metribuzina na aktivnost nekih enzima u zemljištu. Ogled
je postavljen u laboratorijskim uslovima na zemljištu tipa černozem. Metribuzin je primenjen
u količinama 12,0, 24,0 i 60,0 mg/kg zemljišta, a uzorci za analizu uzimani su 3, 7, 15, 30
i 45 dana posle primene metribuzina. Praćena je aktivnost enzima alkalna i kisela fosfataza,
dehidrogenaza, ureaza i β-glukozidaza.
Dobijeni rezultati su pokazali da delovanje metribuzina na aktivnost enzima zavisi od
primenjene količine, dužine delovanja i vrste enzima. Metribuzin je delovao inhibitorno na
kiselu fosfatazu i dehidrogenazu, na alkalnu fosfatazu prvo je delovao inhibitorno, a kasnije
stimulativno, na ureazu je delovao stimulativno, dok na β-glukozidazu nije delovao.

The efficacy of new fungicide mixtures in controlling Plasmopara viticola in grapevine
was evaluated in field trials. The efficacies of Profiler (fluopicolide + fosetyl-Al) and the standard
fungicide Mikal Flash (fosetyl-Al + folpet) were tested at Radmilovac and Slankamenaèki
Vinogradi in 2006 and 2007. Both tested fungicides exhibited high efficacy in controlling
grape downy mildew. There were no significant differencies in the efficacies of Profiler
(96.1-99.7%) and Mikal Flash (94.9-99.2%). Our experiments showed that the investigated
fungicide mixture fluopicolide + fosetyl-Al is highly effective against P. viticola, even when
it it is applied at long intervals and under high disease pressure.; Ispitivana je efikasnost nove kombinacije fungicida za suzbijanje Plasmopara viticola na vinovoj
lozi u poljskim uslovima. U 2006. i 2007. godini ispitivana je efikasnost Profiler (fluopikolid
+ fosetil-Al) u odnosu na standardni fungicid Mikal Flash (fosetil-Al + folpet) na lokalitetima
Radmilovac i Slankamenački Vinogradi. Oba ispitivana fungicida ispoljila su visoku efikasnost
u suzbijanju prouzrokovača plamenjače vinove loze. Između efikasnosti Profiler (96,1- 99,7%) i
Mikal Flash (94,9- 99,2%), nije zabeležena statistički značajna razlika. Naši ogledi su pokazali da
je ispitivana kombinacija fungicida fluopikolid + fosetil-Al visoko efikasna protiv P. viticola, čak
i kada se primenjuje u dužim vremenskim intervalima kao i pri uslovima jake zaraze.
