Agricultural Engineering as a scientific journal for agricultural and biosystems engineering appeared with its first issue in 1963, as edition of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in Zemun Polje. Since then it was regularly published in two issues per year until 1987, when the lengthy delay in publishing started. In 1996, publishing of the scientific journal Agricultural Engineering was officially assumed by the Institute of Agricultural Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade. After the taking over, since 1997, publication of the scientific journal Agricultural Engineering continues regularly. In accordance with the development and modernization of the journal quality and the demands of our readers and authors, Agricultural Engineering in 2005 changed the publishing frequency to 4 issues per year. Because of these demands, in the meantime, circulation also increased to 350, with a tendency to further increase. It publishes papers in English and Serbian language. The abbreviation of the scientific journal Agricultural Engineering is "J.Ag.Eng.". Scientific journal Agricultural Engineering is catalogued in CIP classification of the National Library of Serbia under the International Standard Serial Number ISSN 0554-5587 (Printed version) and ISSN 2406-1123 (Online version), as well as identification COBISS.SR-ID 16398594. All the printed issues can be found in the National Library of Serbia in Belgrade and Matica Srpska Library in Novi Sad. We exchange our Journal regularly with 23 scientific/research institutions in Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Poland, India and USA. Articles published in this Journal are indexed in: AGRIS (International Information System for the Agricultural Science and Technology), SCIndeks, NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences-India), ScienceMedia (ArgosBiotech), CiteFactor (International Academic Scientific Journals), J4F (Journals for Free). Agricultural Engineering is on-line available scientific journal with fully open-access to all published contents, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Poljoprivrednu tehniku redovno razmenjujemo sa 23 naučno-istraživačke institucije u Nemačkoj, Italiji, Velikoj Britaniji, Mađarskoj, Slovačkoj, Bugarskoj, Sloveniji, Hrvatskoj, Makedoniji, Letoniji, Češkoj, Poljskoj, Indiji i SAD. Radovi objavljeni u ovom časopisu indeksirani su u bazama: AGRIS (International Information System for the Agricultural Science and Technology), SCIndeks, NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences-India), ScienceMedia (ArgosBiotech), CiteFactor (International Academic Scientific Journals), J4F (Journals for Free).
