Chaos theory attempts to reveal structure in aperiodic, unpredictable dynamic
systems. Linear analysis used in the theory of agricultural growth presumes an orderly
periodicity that rarely occurs in agriculture. In this sense, it is important to construct
deterministic, nonlinear economic dynamic models that elucidate irregular, unpredictable
behavior of agriculture.
Deterministic chaos refers to irregular or chaotic motion that is generated by
nonlinear systems. Chaos embodies three important principles: (i) extreme sensitivity to
initial conditions; (ii) cause and effect are not proportional; and (iii) nonlinearity.
The basic aim of this paper is to provide a relatively simple chaotic agricultural
growth model that is capable of generating stable equilibria, cycles, or chaos depending
on parmeter values including the values of the marginal capital coefficient in agriculture.
A key hypothesis of this work is based on the idea that the coefficient π =(k_m-1)/k_m
plays a crucial role in explaining local stability of the gross domestic agricultural
product, where km = Δ K/Δ Y, where: Δ - increase, K-capital engaged in agriculture, and
Y-the real gross domestic product produced in agriculture. Teorija haosa pokušava da osvetli strukturu aperiodičnih, nepredvidivih
sistema.
nelinearni sistemi. Haos uključuje tri značajna principa: (i) ekstremnu senzitivnost na
početne uslove; (ii) uzrok i posledica nisu proporcionalni; i (iii) nelinearnost.

gde je km = Δ K/Δ Y, gde je: Δ - porast, K-kapital angažovan u poljoprivredi, i Y- realni
bruto domaći proizvod u poljoprivredi.
